Re: This might help my altitude problem...

Cam is going to be huge. 248/254 629/622 113
Intake. LS6 intake that is already on the car. Might look into the FAST LSx 90mm down the road.
Heads. Well, this I am undecided on. I would like to find some LS6 heads and just have them worked over really well. If I could afford AFR's, I would go that route. Right now, it might just get the stock LS1 heads. I need a job before I actually get this motor installed.

Nice on the cam. are you going to run boost or nitrous then too? Just get a job and get a good set of heads and you'll be set. I honestly wouldn't bother with the LSX...799+ for a 10 horses doesn't seem like to much of a bargin for me. but to each his own.

Re: This might help my altitude problem...

It actually makes more than those 10 horse on a stroker. More cubes, needs more air.
But like I said, that will be down the road.

Re: This might help my altitude problem...

Talk about a visual difference.....

Intake/Exhaust

Gross Valve Lift = .629/.622

Advertised duration = 297/306

Duration at .050 = 248/254

Lobe lift = .3620/.3610

Lobe Separation = 113
