i do not know what car has the heads but i know that the 350 heads wont fit on the 305, they may bolt up but because of the different bores i wouldnt suggest it

Re: junkyard heads

the vortecs you want are the 062 castings. these can be found on 1996-2000 CK pickup trucks, tahoes, suburbans, and the GMC counterparts.

Yes these heads can be used on a 305, the small valves dont have a problem with the smaller 305 bore, but you wont want to upgrade to 2.02/1.60 valves for clearance issues. some people machine the heads down to a smaller chamber of roughly 58cc's to run with the lower displacement. Other than that youll have to get a dedicated Vortec manifold, and an EGR adaptor tube because the vortec heads dont have egr ports. SDPC can hook you up with all that youll need.
