Hey all

I'm new to these forums. I'm 15 and have a 89 S-10 Blazer. It needs some body work, paint, interior work, and a litle engine work, but for $1 you can't go wrong! It's 2DR, 2WD, and it's the 2.8. I bought it because I will be getting my license in June, and wanted something to drive once I do. I was wondering if you guys had any ideas as to what i should do to it?

Re: Hey all

A good start would be the S 10 and Blazer forums and another forum titled "Cars in General". There you can get ideas and information on how to fix it up, modify it, and keep it running. Good luck.

K Thanx. This is my first vehicle, so I really want to put quality upgrades in it, not cheap-o junk. so far, i love my truck, the only thing I would prefer is auto instead of a stick, and 4WD, but oh-well I'm looking for a rear window for it, I'm gonna hopefully go and check the junk yard this week-end, but if I don't, where would I be able to find one?

Re: Hey all

If you check your local salvage yard( I like to use the term salvage because "junk" really has negative ring to it,) and they don't have it see if they have a Locator which can search other salvage yards which belong to that network, for your part. You can try the classified forum on this site, and your local paper's classified, or trader/swap type newspaper if they have one. I'd try those first before I would go on a more advanced search for the part.
