Air bag light keeps coming on?????

I have a 2004 Sebring convertible and the air bag light keeps coming on. I've had it in the shop 3 times already in the last year for the same thing, and now that it's just over the miles on the warranty it has come on again. This will be the fourth time, and now that it's out of warranty I'm afraid that I'll have to pay for it this time. They keep replacing the seat belt to make it go off. Is this something to worry about, and is it something that I may be able to do myself? I'm at my wits end over this thing! Can somebody please help? Thanks!

Of course you should worry about. A air bag ligt tells you that the air bag system is not prop. workin. The garantee should still cover it.
