Transmission Problems

Well, for starters the first thing that stopped working was the traction control button. This was minor but then i started having problems with what i thought was a misfire and me, myself and i changed the spark plugs and the coils and for those of you that dont know this i am a girl and yes i did it on my own..lol This was definitely a hard job though but thank god for small hands. This however did not fix my problem. I noticed that the transmission started to shift on its on and the rpm gauges would jump up and this would follow with a E for error and then a message saying gear select error and check your transmission. Now when i put the car in reverse it shifts very hard as if it were going from reverse to drive on its on.. So what do i do about this??
