Eclipse 420a Motor (Parts Wanted)

Any-one have a 420a ECLIPSE motor lying around that want to sell there front and rear timing covers, Engine mount bracket on timing side and crank pulley. Let me know. I know car-parts.com and other places to go so dont tell me to go there im asking if SOME-ONE on here has one so if you dont have them dont tell me to go to so and so.com. Thanks.

Yes I actually have but with no luck, Im not dumb I do know that local junk yards come in handy, but not for what I need now. I will look into the site you posted but I dont have luck with buying things through the internet. Thanks for the help.





Whats faster???? 420a 2.4lt NEON OR 420a 2.0lt ECLIPSE



LETS SEE--- 420a 2.4lt NEON = More HP Then 420a 2.0lt Eclipse
BUT-------- 420a 2.0lt Eclipse = More torque Then 420a 2.4 Neon
NOW------- 420a 2.0lt Eclipse = Bored to 2.2lt for added HP Plus its still smaller then the NEON 420a thus still producing better Torque at high RPMs and you have the added HP from being bored to 2.2lt.
WHY NOT--- Toss a turbo with a max boost of at least 10PSI on that NEON 420a.

420a 2.0lt ECLIPSE with bored cylinders



Ok I would say the NEON until you hit the switch on a sleeper with bored cylinder and OH-YEAH I forgot to add the Wet shot nitrious kit to the Eclipse which that switch engages when you need that extra boost. (But the NEONs owner wont know until He see a rugged looking RS flyling pass going a buck20.


SEE WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU BUY An RS INSTEAD OF A GSX, You start going crazy becuase you know that the GSX stock could wuop that neons as.

I do know that a 1985 Plymouth Reliant with a 4-banger can TOAST a SUPRA with an in-line 6. Seem kinda Yeeeeaaaaahhh-Riiiiiiiiiight thats not possible or what I say seems impossible being a Supra is pushed by 700 ponys compared to a Reliant is PULLED with hell of alot less ponys then a Supra. WHAT DO YOU THINK. Dont believe me or you think im full of shit check the site below and watch it happen. .

Im skeptical of that video. There had to have been something wrong with that supra, cuz no fuckin reliant or whatever it was would have smoked it like that if both were in top running condition. Plus, that reliant is no where near stock. So that defeats the purpose, unless you acknowledge that it obviously has a lot of work done under the hood.

Hows it defeat the purpose, the Reliant (A.K.A. Relentless) obvoiusly beat the Supra with a 4cly motor. Yeahs theres things done such as performance torque converter, turbo, ex. It doesnt seem that theres any-thing wrong with the Supra.

Maybe hes thinking like you? doesnt have any-clue what kinda car it is BUT says it doesnt appear stock,,,lol (just kidding)

Or maybe he got high off the tire smoke from the Reliant and forgot how to drive.


Either way the relentless one and even the audiance knew just by watching the Reliant yoke the tires.

Read the sign in front off the audiance it reads ( DODGE-DIFFERENT)

just becuase a car has a inline 6 and has 700 ponys and looks great doesnt mean a 4cly 500 pony looks like shit cant whoop a Supras ass.

Who really cares any-way I drive a Eclipse and probly will never ever drive a Reliant or Supra unless I had to, They both suck, including Eclipse at least they suck compared to the R34 Skyline.

A lot of things suck compared to a Skyline, but they are almost considered a super car because of the expense of importing one.
