Unhappy Instrument cluster froze 1996 passat

Firstly thanks to all who contribute to this forum. Yesterday, while I was driving, my intruments cluster (speedometer, rpm, engine temp...) froze as I was driving. It doesnt move at all even when I turn the car off. Its stuck saying 18mph or something. Could this be a simple connection, relay, or fuse. Seems like there are electrical glitches happening more and more with this car. Please does anyone have any advice? I just payed a bunch for a new steering pump and the last thing I want to do is take it back in. Thank you

Also, my ABS light goes on and out randomly since i took it in, HELP! lol
