I already know it's a 16x6.5 with 5/100 bolt pattern and a 73mm center hole, but what is the offset? My SVX has a +55mm, and I'm not sure if the Legacy GT is the same or if it's less than that. I'm wanting to put some aftermaket 17x7's on it with 225R17 40's, but I'm not sure they'll fit the inside clearance. If I can get wheels with a 10mm lower offset they should be fine, but NO ONE - not even the Subaru Dealer - can tell me what the original factory wheel offset is. They are the 18-spoke GT wheels. Anybody out there know for sure?
Thanks, Mark |

Re: Wheel Offset for my '97 GT
Here's a clue, the wheel offset is on the back of the wheel
![]() Take a wheel off the car and look on the back side of the mating face, the wheel offset on Subaru's factory wheels is usually marked in this area.

Re: Wheel Offset for my '97 GT
yup, its printed on the inside of the rim.
It should be 55mm. Depending on how wide you go, you can put anythign from 43-55 on a subaru safely. Heres the info I got off of www.nasioc.com rim width.... offset 6.5" ....... +53 to +55 7.0" ....... +50 to +53 7.5" ....... +47 to +50 8.0" ....... +43 to +47
