2001 Infiniti I30t (Strange sound) pls help
When the ignition key is inserted and turned to the (ACC II) position but not to the point of turning the engine over, I get this whirling or pressurizing sound coming from the front of the car. I hear again once I turn the car off. Could anyone please help identify what may cause this and how to correct it? Thanks in advance for your help.

Injectors ok. I did notice that when I apply the brakes I can hear the sound. Also while checking under the hood seems like the sound is coming from the trottle body area. But still no luck in what's making the sound. Any takers please respond.

i think the sound you're talking about is the fuel pump turning on and pressurizing the system. it's a normal sound.
