early 944 clutch problem

ok so the engagement point on the clutch has gone up on the pedal, almost to the point where my foot close to being off of the pedal completely. it still grabs just as strong as it always did but where it grabs is higher up on the pedal. is this just the clutch disc wearing away? is the clutch adjustable even though its hydraulic? any help on the subject would be appreciated...thanks

I've adjusted my 83's clutch pedal

Yes, those pedals are adjustable, and its a fairly easy procedure. It is adjusted from behind the pedal with a tensioner sort of thing. My advice is to check from a manual so you can see where to turn/tighten, etc. A Hane's manual covers this, adjusting pedal play, and its around 15$. All you have to do is tighten the thing untill the play is gone and it grabs tight. Do get your clutch checked though, I just replaced mine to the tune of 1200$ at the shop. ouch.

Hope that helps
