i got some new speakers today for my four door because all 4 are blown and the rears were so bad they didnt work at all. I got 4 alpine type s 6 1/2"s I installed the rears today but im gonna make MDF rings for em so i can use the alpine grilles. because those bars for the trunk block the magnet from sitting inside the trunk. I already have the MDF, i just gotta cut it and shape it to my liking. Ill put in the fronts tomorrow if i can too. I just dont wanna rip off the door panels.

alright i figured out an easier way to take out the old speakers! the speaker grilles pop right out of the door panel with a flathead. I took out the old mount things for the oem speakers and had to cut the whole backing off so it was just a ring with mounting bracket things left and then i screwed on the mounting rings for the new speakers and screwed in the new speakers. Custom but good and easy install. I just NEED to make custom kickpanels now so i can put the grilles on. Neither the stock or Alpine grilles fit because of how the speakers mount up, plus itll look alot nicer once i make the kickpanels. I gotta do something with the back too so that its alot cleaner there too.

i took out my rear speakers bc i blew one completely already but it was already used like hell anyways bc it was the floor model and im gettin brand new ones for free. thats what the warrantee is for right? But the speakers sound really good.
