Driving rules

Hey, I think we should compile a list of rules for driving, I'll go first:

1) If one of your headlights burns out, that does NOT make it ok for you drive around with your brights on; go replace the damn bulb and quit being a turd.

I think this post should be deleted due to the fact that this should be a complete web site by itself. There are way to many idiots out there.

2) Don't tailgate me when going down the highway. My steel bumper will shear your hood off... after the tri-ball reciever hitch tears through your bumper, condenser, and radiator.

3.) If you're pulling into a parking spot and you're not quite sure if you're turned sharp enough to avoid tapping the vehicle next to you... quit being a lazy ass and back up and try again!

4) When I turn on my turn signal it is not a sign for you to close the 5 car gap in 1 second, I AM coming over...

Re: Driving rules

5) when construction traffic is merging, don't be the jack off that tries to drive all the way up to the barrells, while everyone else merges. You are the reason everyone has to slow to a stop.

PS don't be surprised if I come in to your lane to keep from passing me in this situation.

Re: Driving rules

#5 - I love it when semis move into the ending lane right as a car is about to speed by. I've seen more than one car just about take the ditch.

#6 ers are all voer the place. Just today some jerk in a lexus was crawling down the centerline talking on his cell phone, no turn signal on, and going no faster than 10mph in the 35 zone. Was he turning left and trying to get over so I didn't have to slow down? Did he think he was pulling a trailer and needed to make a wide right turn? Was he unaware he was operating a motor vehicle on a roadway? Did he need a swift kick in the ass? I'll tell you this: he wasn't turning left, he looked confused, and if he'd slowed down any more I could have ran up, opened his door, and introduced his rear to my size 16s.

I honked the horn, put on my left turn signal, and hit the gas. I think the horn along with the roar of glasspacks 6" from his precious car might have scared him off the road for awhile (and yes, his window was down )

7) When someone in a Chevy Aveo or similar pint sized car double parks, you should be able to use your bumper to "nudge" it out of the way.

Re: Driving rules

lol i hate those people who think they are better than everyone else and have to take up 2 or even 3 parking stalls so that people dont park by thier car and scratch it. I UNDERSTAND if your car is a mint condition classic or a freaking awesome newer silverado with really fancy paint and stuff, but the people i see doing this are driving cars like ford focuses and mazda miatas that are completely stock and completely not fancy in any way shape or form. heres a good set of rules for this kind of parking.

1) your car must be mint condition classic or be very modified and worth a lot of money

2) if the store is busy and people would need that stall, then i dont care what your car is, dont park like that. i have it when i try to go to the store on saturday afternoon and some dink has his lexus parked at a 90 degree angle to other cars.

3) NEVER pull the old "hazard lights parked at the walmart entrance" trick. i hope you get towed if you do lol

4) consider not driving your fancy car to run errands. chances are if you can afford a car nice enough to park like that, then you can afford a beater or a normal car to run errands in.

Re: Driving rules

The one that makes me want to get out the bat is the semi drivers that feel that need to be in the other lane cause they think they can accellerate faster from the light than the OTHER semi driver. GET INTO ONE FU$#ING LANE!!!!

for this one if there is ANY amount of room in the spot next to him, I will park in that stall so he either needs to wait until I decide that I'm done shopping and leave or has to figure out how to wiggle their vehicle out of the spot. This works better if somone is willing to do the same thing on the other side of them. Oh, and dont forget to take the licence plate # so when you get a ding or scratch, you can call in a hit and run and have their info.

And I also agree with the first post about the highbeams.

#9 it does no good to tail gate to get the truck in front of you to go faster on a two lane road with 4 semis in front of the truck. that poor chevy cant drive under semis or make them go any faster. if you leave late expect to get to work late.

construction traffic is fun all the ones that try to hang in the closed lane sould be made to stop. untill the trafic in the open lane clears.

seen cops giving tickets to cars trying that stunt. it was funny going by every one in a rush and a line of cops stopping cars trying to pass in the brake down land, and at the end of the closed lane. the chatter on the cb was get over or get a ticket. all the truckers picked the open lane.
