'05 STI vs. '04 GTO video I took
A cople fridays ago my friends and I were being lame as usual(haning out on main). Cole with his 05 STI would not do anymore donuts and no one seemed to want to race. But then comes this red pontiac with a tag in its window. He starts talking to people and we ask him if he wants to race he says yes. People are talking his GTO up hard core.
The car I took this from was my friends '91 Laser AWD pushing about 230awhp. The '04 GTO has a LS1 covette motor 350hp 395 ft/lb. The '05 STI has 300hp 300hp. Totaly stock. www.urbansqurill.com/video/gto.avi Yes I know I take shitty video.

They hit about 120 at the end of the race, their was a car infrount of it.

This is why i wanna sell my gst and get either a base wrx or a sti. No point getting a evo since my car can run the same with just 1-2g's into it and look sexier too.

Sweet video. I would have expected the GTO to do a little better. I think the guy was a shitty driver, or he really wasn't comfortable driving a car with that much power. His launch was horrible. With a good driver, it would have been a lot closer. That GTO has mad balls.

sti and the evo are about neck and neck unless you wanna cross the pond to get the REAL deal versions. yeah the sti has a little more acceleration but the evo kills the corners, ive been watchin those damn option videos again.....

Plus you have to love that evo7 MR edition with the built in gauges and computerized differential and all that other cool stuff. Plus the evo looks better then the WRX

The STI creamed the GTO. AWD rules the world. The new GTO is a glorified grand am with a corvette motor.
