No, I got screwed out of that block. It had soo many stress cracks in it. Fortunatly, the guy gave me my money back and took the block

That engine was a stage 1 early block

The new engine is a stage II block out of a Mclarin indy car All I need to to buy my heads and order pistions. guys consitanly go into the 8s-high 7s with the setup I am hoping to build. Dry sump oiling, gear driven cam shaft. bad ass heads, 9:1 compression, POSSIBIALLY twins. ( I have not made up my mind yet )

why are you getting a new motor? whats wrong with the LS1, or you just got money like that. Also what motor are you planning on getting, 454? maybe even 572? blown? nitrous? alky hawl?
