LXi Question
I just bought a 1989 Honda Accord LXi, it was pretty cheap and was working at the time. But when I got it home, it no longer worked. Here's what happened. The guy let it get down to the last little bit of gas and probably clogged the fuel filter-so I changed it, then the batter died-got a new one. then the alternator was incorrectly posistioned and the belt made a terrible screeching noise-so I reposistioned it. It worked finally. But now it is being slow to start. The engine turns over nicely but it doesn't want to take that last step of starting. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

Re: LXi Question
Check to see if you are throwing any codes. My 86 LXI did the same thing. Also check fuses like the fuel pump fuse. Check to see if you are getting spark and fuel.
