the fuel pump relay for the Forth Generation Camaro's is on the left hand side of the driver's footwell, under a plastic cover. If you have a 5 speed, put your foot on the clutch pedal and then move it to the left, you should hit the cover. Good Luck!!

Well for me it was next to the engine, like where the passenger side is, just try to find the part that looks like to it.

Re: fuel pump relay

Should be the relay on the passenger side firewall right next to the A/C. Hopefully you know what a relay looks like. There are also 2 other relays on the drivers side firewall. I know one of those is for the Fan, and other stuff.

I may be mistaken but I believe that your fuel pump relay should be:
UNDER HOOD, DRIVER SIDE, REAR ENGINE AREA, DRIVER SIDE OF MASTER CYLINDER, MOUNTED ON FIREWALL

He is exactly right. On an 86-89 third gen there will be 3 relays there, fuel pump, MAF power, MAF burn off.

Re: fuel pump relay

On my 91 there are 2 on drivers side firewall, and 1 on passenger side firewall. Fuel pump relay is one of the ones on the drivers side.

Another thing to note if your not getting fuel while trying to start up there could be several other reasons for this. If the computer thinks there is not enough oil pressure it will cut power to the fuel pump.

Among many others.

That is a common misconception. The oil pressure switch is there to enable the car to start if the FP relay craps out. You crank the engine until the switch sees 7psi, then it engages the fuel pump.
