I'm saying this as seriously as I possibly can. It is not meant as a jab, it is meant as serious suggestion: If you feel you want to kill yourself, seek some help for yourself. I've had friends tell me they wanted to kill themselves and it scared the shit out of me. In as much seriousness as I can muster through the internet, find yourself some professional help.

Re: How often....

Having had two of my friends friends from school commit suicide this year alone, I agree with Jon. Seek some help. There is nothing in the world that could be so bad that killing yourself is the only option. Besides, if you are a religious person, think of it this way: No matter how bad it is here, you will go to Hell if you kill yourself, and Hell will be a billion times worse.

I hope you feel better soon.

Re: How often....

I've been there. Some days were shitty, some days were shittier. But you have to tell yourself (and know) that you don't have to be miserable. You don't have to go through life being miserable and pissed off at everything. You can be happy and smile and make every day a good day to be alive. You just have to want it.

Hey, if you want to kill yourself, go ahead. If you really want to spend eternity burning in Hell, go ahead. We all have bad days, dude. Shit happens, and you just gotta roll with it and see what tomorrow brings. It might be better.

I don't think you're helping things.

This is an oldy but a goody. It makes you crack a smile everytime you read it and should cheer you up.

All the time dude. Things would be so much easier if you just didnt have to pay bills, go to work, answer to people... but I could never imagine actually pulling the trigger (literally and hypothetically). Life is full of ups and downs. The only time I would kill myself is if my dong got chopped off and I could never have sex again. So unless your dong got chopped off, I say keep your head up and hang with the punches there homeslice. Things are gonna get easier.

Re: How often....

Drew- Seriously....grow up. He dated your sister....LA DE DA. Why be pissed off about it? She has her life you have yours. Let her make her own mistakes. I think thats a pretty fucked up reason to be that pissed at someone.

JetLee....find some help. Killing yourself is only going to put your loved ones in pain.

Re: How often....

and what are you gonna do when your sister gets another boyfriend drew? not be friends with him because he "doesnt respect you"? Either way, this thread isnt about your sisters dumb ex boyfriend. I don't know why you brought that 5 page novel into this topic.

Jet Lee, you're obviously going through some shit. There are people who understand what you're feeling, and they can help you get past it. Everybody dwells on suicide every once in a while, but if you are seriously considering it, then why not try some professional help first. If you really are going to do it, then wheres the harm in some help? Are you afraid of being happy again? I know some people actually get so content with hate that they dont want to be happy, so that isnt a smart ass question, I want you to ask yourself that. If theres a chance someone can set you back on the right track, why would you give up hope?

I'm sure we all would like to hear how you are feeling, or at least hear something from you. Let us know if you are going to consider it (prof. help) or not. I for one would like to see you cheer up.

Re: How often....

It is an easy way out.

I just had a buddy of mine kill himself, even went as far as to put plastic all around so he wouldn't "make a mess" and then ate his gun.
Then his mom found him.

We all cried and shit, but mostly we're pissed off at him.
Funny thing is most of us hardly think of him anymore at all. It's just too hard. He's gone, forgotten. What did he lose out on by killing himself?
What great thing could he have done with his life?
Fuck him, fucking prick! Is that how you'd like to be remembered?
How about this then, " Why couldn't I have seen it coming"? Why didn't I do more for him? It's my fault! Nice thing to leave your friends.

Suicide is selfish.

Personally I have no worries about "going to hell".

Every time I hear about somone wanting to kill themselves I get pissed off.
You must have friends and family who you are going to hurt because of this.

Fuck man, I don't know you and I'd be upset!

Look at this time in your life as a chance to start a new. Go out and try something you never did before.
Don't go out and get drunk and wrecked, it just makes it worse.
Please, please tell me that this isn't over a woman.

You will look back at this time in your life and say to yourself " Oh yeah, I remember that, funny, it doesn't seem all that important now".

Whatever it is, it WILL get better. Shit has a way of working itself out.

Ask for help. It doesn't make you weak! Weak is killing yourself..

Re: How often....

I moved here to Arkansas with my fiancee, cause employment opportunities are soo much greater than Cali, which is 100% true. No one told me what I would have to sacrifice. The people here are nothing but a bunch of asses, all they do is bitch and talk shit but dont back anything up, it's annoying as all fuck. I got into an accident (August 04), the car wasn't in my name (yet), and the owner kept the insurance money. My car is still fucked up. I was supposed to be able to get the money this Friday, but not no more. My credit cards are past due, credit's shot, my car is fucked up, my account is overdrawn, and it doesn't get any better! I haen't bought shit for myself in the past ?? months! Everything I have goes to bills and maintainence. I wanna start over so fucking bad.

Re: How often....

/\ I was in the same boat as you 2 yrs ago. I had no job, bills out to wazoo, a wife that was going to leave .... then I get a notice from the federal tax dept. - I owe them $16,000 in taxes. I was $32,000 in the hole with bills and shit. And everyone was calling looking for their share of money I didn't have.

I went to file for bankrupcy and the day I went to talk to the bankruptcy guy, I got a call for a good paying job. A week later, I had a good job and a plan to clear up my bills. Now I am actually saving money, looking at buying the house I rent, rebuilt a truck for a daily driver and started a new hotrod. And everything is going great in my life .. what a difference a plan and a couple of years makes.

Jet< as others have said, go seek help!! Check out a credit advisor to get options on what you can do about your money situation. No amount of debt is worth killing yourself for. There is always options; you just need to ask!!!!

BTW, during all that time I had my truck to beat on. Get a stress reliever somewhere!!! When I was in trouble, I literally beat the shit out of it, windows, fenders, etc. with a sludge hammer. I had a lot of anger and took it out on the truck ... now I had to replace everything I broke ... but it was worth it. Get a punching bag or something like that and take out your anger to the point of exhaustion, then you might feel better.

Good luck!!!
