Isuzu Pickup
Just like Pontiac or Buick, Isuzu is just another one of GM’s brands. Not only is Isuzu owned by GM, but its current lineup is all GM, which is to say that its sole offering, the Ascender SUV, is a rebadged Chevrolet TrailBlazer. In New York, Isuzu bolstered its one-vehicle lineup with another rebadged vehicle from, yep, GM. Essentially Isuzu’s versions of the Chevy Colorado/GMC Canyon twins, the Isuzu trucks will come in two configurations: the i-280, which features rear-wheel drive, an extended cab, and a 2.8-liter inline four-cylinder teamed with a manual or an automatic; and the i-350, which sports four-wheel drive, a four-door crew cab, and a 3.5-liter inline five-cylinder paired with an automatic. Isuzu’s new trucks will come with a seven-year/75,000-mile powertrain limited warranty, and will be available in late summer/early fall. More photos

GM has owned Isuzu for several years now. I used to run a warehouse that supplied parts to a GM/Isuzu production line in Janesville, WI, that produces medium duty trucks.
