more tranny problems!!

Hello to All!!!!

I have a leaking rear output shaft seal leak in my 1994 3.4l v6 5 speed manual Camaro. Chilton says it is a simple proceedure to replace as long as I have the right tools. I can probably get "loner" tools (bushing and seal setting tools) from an auto parts store but my question is....

1.) has anyone replaced one of these and can offer some information regarding the "easiest" way to fix it.
2.) Chilton says it is a "simple" job, but I have never worked with the drivetrain before. Is it simple enough for a DIY'er with a good set of tools, and the willingness to bust his behind for his Camaro?
3.) what would a replacement cost at your local tranny shop?

You've never let me down folks, and for that I say THANK YOU!!! I have always been succesful with this forums help!!!

Thanks!!! Jack
