I have a 1999 Malibu, recently I have had the front tires balanced twice the alingment checked and I still get a wicked vibration from 65 to 75. I can't figure out what it is without dumpng alot of money into it to play hit or miss. I was thinking maybe wheel bearing, front strut or bushing. Has anyone else had a problem like this?

Tire wear seems fine. I don't see any abnormal wear. I rotated the tires last night thinking I might have something like that, but shake is still there. Thanks for the thought! |

make sure the lug nuts are tight. Might see if the tires are out of balance.

Re: Shaking in front end at highway speeds
When you rotated the tires did the vibration move with the rotation ie: front to rear? Sounds like your belts may have shifted. Other then that check for free play in the front end.
