HELP! Car won't start

I have a 1990 crx DX and about a month ago my car started to act stupid and sputer at low rpms ( 1000-2500) but only some times. So i changed the fuel filter, spark plugs, and air filter thinking that it would stop and it did for about a week. Then it was back again and this time it was worse. Then i went to florida for to weeks and came back yesterday to find that the thing will not start. I also forgot to mention that when it started to sputer if i opened to fuel tank cap it would release alot of presure and would run fine for a couple of minutes then act up again. so i took the cap right off and it still did it. So now my car is dead in my garage and i can't get to school or work because i am a delivery boy. I think it may be my fuel pump but don't want replace it if it is not necessary. Also what do you guys think of flat black?
