Question 2000 GA Stalling

I am planning to take my 2000 GA 4 door sedan 4 cy to the shop this week, but I wanted to know if anyone has had this issue. Over the past few months when I am at a light the car acts like it wants to cut off. Just last week it really acted it like by shaking etc. I had my plugs replaced last week and I have about 55,000 miles on it. Any help is great!!!

Re: 2000 GA Stalling

Sounds like either a faulty fuel pump or a vacuum leak but it could be from way too many things to list here. I think you will find out shortly and good luck, hope its something cheap.

John

Re: 2000 GA Stalling

John's right - it could be caused by many different things. Some things include

plugs
wires
coil packs
throttle position sensor (TPS)
clogged fuel injectors
vacuum leaks or fuel pump like he said
fuel pressure regulator
fuel filter
MAF

and many more.... the shop should be able to diagnose it and tell you.
