2002 mountaineer brake control connection
I recently purchased a Prodigy brake controller with the wire harness for my vehicle. However, I can't find a mating plug under the dash that mates-up with this harness. I have the class 3 towing package on the truck. There is a green connector under the dash but it has a totally different type of connector than what I received from Prodigy. Can anyone tell me where and how to locate the connector I need to install the brake controller?
Thanks for the help. |

Re: 2002 mountaineer brake control connection
Ford put the brake control plug in over on the passenger side on 2002 and later models. Why? I have no idea. You have to remove the glove box to get to it.
