Ford Ranger put me in my place... wtf????
Roll up to a stop sign chillin with my girl and this ranger comes up next to me (have my sound system up, windows up and talking to her. So I can't hear his exhaust) and i see him edging up on the light as it turns yellow on cross traffic. So I'm like 'wth... might as well put him in his place you know.. shut him up etc' and the light turns green and I get going, nice shift form 1st to 2nd with a small chirp and yet the ranger pulled on me all the way from the light. I killed it at around 60mph when he had 1-2 car lengths on me... wtf????? =(

In a few years gonna get either 98-02ss or C4 Vette. =) Until then gotta pay off the maro and save up for the next car.

I won't say anything bad since I already ragged about it before. I guess it's his car and he likes it so thats fine with me. There is shit I do that I know not everyone will like but since I like it I don't care what other people think. So he can do whatever he wants if he likes it that way. I guess.

You make a good point StlBlues. Now this "Ford Truck Man" is gonna be bragging about how he beat a Z. Xeno, you should beef that thing up a lot when you can and make it more than worthy of those badges.

the 4.0 rangers have awesome torque down below. If it was a 4.0 two wheel drive five speed, 207 HP and 238 torque. It would be a close race.
200 HP and 225 torque for the camaro. It would be a drivers race for the qtr mile. Now before you people start bashing trucks for aerodynamics..... That does not really take significant effect untill about 95-100

Doesn't make sense that anyone in any vehicle would crank up the laughing gas and put the strain on the iron in a race not for $$$!

damn that i just like to see the looks i get when they see that purge lol, half the time they bitch up, damn the money its all about being on the top of the food chain, if u break it it can be fixed, if u build it right u may not have to fix it for a long long time. turbo, s/c, nitrous they all put strain on your engine so it dont matter at all.
