MOMO Steering Wheel Install

Hey fellow drivers. I drive a nissan sentra E. I just got an MOMO Jet Steering Wheel and The adapter hub and quick release adapter. After trying to figure out how to get the stock one off, I tried to mount to adapter hub. After doing so and tighting the lock nut and completing the install I noticed that the steering wheel is really tight to turn. When I turn the steering wheel while I am driving it stays turned when I let go. So, I actually have to turn the wheel straight. I guess it's alright for now. But forget about 3 point turns, what a pain. What should I do and what did I do wrong? I can loosen the locking nut and it returns back to normal but am afraid the that wheel might come off over time. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

updated*** I fixed the problem with a little modification to the Combination Switch Module (shaved about a 1/4 in. - 1/2 in. off) and I was able to mount the momo steering wheel all the way down and securely. I feel safe driving my car now knowing that the steering wheel will not come loose. I also added some blue loctite for more assurance.
