more info

the reason i ask is because i had a 98 that the engine blew in and i was just going to look for a new eclipse with more features and I happened to come across this beauty.... she was white with black racing stripes, and all black leather interior, moon roof, and low mileage. Upon calming my heart, she was an automatic. I fell in love with this car and i would like to take my tarnny I have now from the blown eclipse and swap it into this automatic one..... Is this a smart idea or am I just a foolish dreamer?????

Do a search and you shall find the answer. This question has been answered so many times that most people including myself, are just sick of answering it.

It has been largley deemed to be not worth it in any way shape or form. It really is about as simple as that.

And yes, please be sure to search before posting in the future. Thanks!

Re: automatic trans to manual..... can it be done easily????

is it easy? sure. sell your car, and buy one with a manual. thats easy right?

seriously thats a lot more practical, than trying to do a conversion.
