help with 98 GLX with Bose System
I have a GLX with a Bose 10 speaker system. I'm trying to hook up an aftermarket head unit (Kenwood KDC-MP628 to be exact). I bought a scosche wiring harness and wired everything right (did it twice to make sure) but theres still no sound coming out of the speakers. Is there something I have to do special for the Bose system? or should it work anyway? Plus, I didn't use the pink plug which I think is for the CD changer that I don't have anyway, but I hope that didn't matter. Could the head unit be bad? This is really driving me crazy, I can fix computers like no other, but give me something as simple as a radio install and I can't do it. lol. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Does the head unit power up & seem to work properly?

yea, the head unit did everything except the speakers didn't have any sounds coming out of them.

Doesn't that system have a separate power amp for the speakers? There should be a power signal wire to it from the head unit.

Re: help with 98 GLX with Bose System
which wire would that be on the harness? I didn't connect the alarm wires or the antenna wire. I think those were the only ones...
