Re: Engine Warning Light On
Take it to Autozone and have it scanned. It could indicate a misfire in a cylinder or a bad O2 sensor. Anything could be the problem so the best way to find out what is going on is to scan it. If there is a code they will tell you what the problem is and that should enable you to correct the problem. If you need help post again and someone will provide assistance.

Re: Engine Warning Light On
Click you key forward twice and the code should come up on the odometer. Let us know the code!

Had the same problem with my 98. Took it to Autozone, they actually lend you the machine with your Driver's License as deposit (at least here in Miami they do).
I tried the "key twice" suggestion but didn't work. My van is 2 old. |

My van is a 2001 and it works. You must try this combo. on, off,on, off, on. Its in the haynes manual. |

My '97 flashes a code via the Check Engine light. Blink pause blink blink means code 12 (battery disconnected recently). "55" means "End of Codes". 21 is an O2 sensor
