Elvington drag strip

Good, rare suny day at the strip.
Best time = 8.8 sec 1/4 mile @156mph by a 300BHP home made drag bike.
Best Car = Subaru Impreza station wagon 1/4 mile in 11.08 secs and one hell of a car.
Worst car = Some Lexus, 1/4 mile in 16.75 secs.

st185 V st205 Celica GT4`s

NSX V Scoobie, was very disapointed with the performance of the NSX, it was not fast at all, I think the scoobie wins this one

Unfortunately The MR2 takes the win

The Kit car was helish fast with a motorbike engine running 2 stage nos

Couple of bikes have a go, 9.99 secs for the winner

Bit of a mismatch, but the little civic does remarkably well

An old Escort Cosworth

Civic gets pasted

The 8 sec bike

MR2 loses to a very rapid skyline

Prelude dies

Random shot

Out of all the cars that ran, I was most disapointed with the NSX, it was crap. I never thought I`d say this but the little Civics did very well for 1.6 l cars and shamed some much bigger better cars.
Fastest Celica GT4 of the day was an ST185 which ran a 12.8 sec 1/4 mile. not bad for a 12 year old car.
