Need help to find a wiring short
If someone out there has a factory service manual for the 99 Durango, I need to find the destination of a wire in the female plug that connects to the headlight switch. Terminal # 13 is a pink wire with a blue stripe, that on my Durango is directly shorted to something. This is causing the fuse #12, (interior lamps) to blow.
If I know where that wire is going to, maybe I can find the short without tearing the harness apart. All replies are deeply appreciated. |

Re: Need help to find a wiring short
Looks like it's going to the central timer module. There is only one wire coming back and that is BR/LG the one you're refering to is labled PK/DBL. My best guess you can short these two wires together and disable whatever function that the central timer module has, or get a new one. Let us know what happens and Good Luck.
