Question Still need help with Acclaim!

Well we thought the problem was solved. We changed the ignition module. The car finally started. But now it acts like its not getting enough gas. The car will run as long as you hold the gas pedal on the floor. Otherwise when you take your foot off the car dies. This car is making me crazy! Someone please help!

Re: Still need help with Acclaim!

Hi again..... Well, I ended up having to have my coil pack replaced, the rotor, distributor, etc. that goes along those lines... That took care of my issue - at least so far. I also (before this stuff) replaced the fuel filter (I don't even know how it ran after pulling that off), PCV, and plugs... The car WILL drive you nuts - and it won't get any better.... Iwish there was more I could do, but I'm at a loss myself; the next place it is going is its grave.... Niko
