owners manual gives best info, but a general rule i follow is every 50,000 miles, same for the front and rear axles with moderate use of the four wheel drive. with heavy use, pounding the shit out of it, and having all kinds of fun with the mud, i would probably do them all around 30,000 miles. best bet is to check your owners manual or consult a chevy dealer if no manual available. not trying to drive up sales, but most jiffy lubes have a 4x4 special, all 3 "gearboxes" for 59.99. at our store, each "gearbox" is 29.99 seperately, and the package is a buy 2 get one free kinda deal. not a bad deal all in all.

Re: Transfer case fluid change

it depends on the fluid thats in it, 80/90 gear oil every 30-50,000 miles, dextron/mercon every time you change the tranny fluid ( when the tranny has a light pink color or 24-28,000 miles )
