Ned help with air suspension
Hi I am Del SOl and was thinking about installing air cylinder kit on it. I was wondering if anyone know how they ride and are they hard to maintain. What would be a good price for it so I will know when I go to look for a kit.

Re: Ned help with air suspension
well a price would be dificult because there are many factors to think about. Wethere or not there are electric valves or manual, what size compressor, what size air tanks, If your gonna run mechanical or digital gauges, how many switches your gonna use.
Maintanace isn't that bad, just the usual air leaks and going out to a car that has no air and waiting for pressure to build up, its all part of the game. Im not sure what advances have come about but my buddy put cylinders in his 98 integra years ago and had nothing but problems. check out www.coolcars.org and www.suicidedoors.com maybe you can get some insite on pricing there.

Re: Ned help with air suspension
it kills your handling, as well. Really the only reason to do it is on a show car. If you want an adjustable suspension, get adjustable coilovers, so for shows you can crank them way down and be super low, and then for daily driving you can put a milder drop on.
