1969 351c TT Mustang header build

Thought you guys might be interested in this. This is what I've been doing lately:














The material is black mild steel schedule 40 pipe.
Motor is a 351 Cleveland, thoroughly ported 2v open chamber heads, Comp magnum roller rockers, stock CJ cam(112 lobe sep, ~.520 lift). Blow thru 4779 750 holley DP carb on a Weiand Xcellerator intake manifold. Block filled to within around 1.5" of the deck with embeco cement. Forged JE blower pistons, 351w H-beam rods, stock crank, windage tray; around 8.5:1 compression. . Serpentine belt setup for the alternator(the only engine driven accessory). Electric Meziere water pump:

Aeromotive A1000 fuel pump, Aeromotive 1:1 regulator.
The power is being put through a Dynamic Racing Trans C4, reverse manual valve body, then to a 9" with a 31 spline locker with 3.55 gears.
Goal is 550rwhp for now.
Car is a 1969 Mustang Coupe. Originally a 302 car. Target weight is 3000lbs dry. Wheels will be 17" Black Bullitt replicas:

Tires will be M&H Racemaster 275/50R17 Drag radials:

For the strip I'll have a set of 28" drag slicks.
Expecting 11s, hoping for 10s!

That is frickin bad ass!

I am going the easier route, so I just bought a complete T76 kit for my 69 block for $3000.

You should hit 10 easy, as long as you can get the traction.

What turbos will you be using?

I'm going to break the motor in N/A, put at least a couple hundred miles on it first. Then I have two choices.
I already have a pair of T3 Super 60s, .60/.63, that would probably work decent. However, I don't think they can provide enough flow to feed it above 5000rpm or so, and they'll spool damn fast. Probably as close to instantaneous without being severely undersized. They'll probably be good enough for 525ish bhp, but I know plenty of guys pushing this on stroker N/A clevelands who have a lot less money in their motors.. I've obviously got to beat them, right?
So my other option is to buy a pair of t4s. The trick is to find some with the right A/R exhaust turbine, the vast majority seem to be 1.15+. I just found some on ebay with .96 housings, but I'd like to see if I can get a couple with the .84s. These would certainly have the flow for my motor, and definately a bit of headroom to get more power out of it later on.

I'd go .84s myself. .60/.63 are pretty small, and of course your right about spool for them.
