A buddy of mine is a union welder and he's gonna hook me up with a ubend delete this weekend. Afterwards he wants to take me out with his wifes GTI and have a run or 2 . He says it's stock. i heard they a pretty quick. Who's got the upper hand?

Dusted one a few months ago with my '01 Regal GS and it does low 15s box stock. On my modded '97 GTP, he'd have to put his money where his mouth is, otherwise it's time wasted.
