d16z6 swap

ok if anyone can help this would be great. i swapped out my d15b7 for a d16z6, now it idiols really bad and it has 2 map sensors. the one came with the engine and the other stayed on the firewall. i have 2 different plugins. i don't know what plugin to use, or do i connect them to make one and for get about the sensor on the firewall? I need help.

Someone would help you if your post was a bit more descriptive. Maybe even some pics....thats if you want help from here. Other than that I would suggest a local mechanic. Also, run a search on engine swaps, it may include info on the wiring.

mine has a CEL problem...

I did my swap with the same engine... and dont know how to fix the darn CEL from telling me somethings wrong with my auto transmission... I dont have an auto Transmission. Anyway.. I dont think I have any unplugged wires in my firewall... but let me check and get back to you on that....

Just use the one that attaches to the throttle body and forget about the one on the firewall.

To make it quite reading the auto tranny you need to take a resistor out of your ECU. I swapped trannys and had to do this. I do not remember the location of the resistor. I will try and pull the ECU this weekend and let you know the location.
