Does it have an emergency fuel shutoff switch? My Escort had one and acted exactly the same. It activates in an accident, but mine tripped just sitting there.

Re: cranks over no start 99 f-150

On a friends gm when the throttle is to the floor it signals the pcm to initiate a clear flood mode. His throttle wasn't to the floor but the throttle position sensor thought it was.
Good luck and let us know.

Both the spark and the injectors are ECM controlled, so any sensor that would take out one, will also take out the other.

Do you hear the fuel pump running for a short time after you switch the ignition on? If not, you have a fuel problem. First check for power to the fuel pump, if you have it, replace the pump.

Yup, the PATS "key" programmed into the new EEC is different than the PATS "key" in the PATS module and your ignition key. someone screwed up big time.

PATS = Passive Anti Theft System.
