Question head gasket replacement

the 94 hyundai excel I have keeps dumping oil. I've had all the seals changed, also replaced the oil pan and valve cover gasket and it's done me no good. The car runs great, but loses oil like crazy. It is coating the drivers side of the car and keeps ruining the brake on that side. 8 miles drive = 2 quarts oil. This is the only car I have and can't afford to buy another. The only other thing I can come up with is the head gasket is blown. (No water in the oil, no oil in the water), but I can't figure out how to get the head off. I don't have a hoist so must do it in the car. Any advice would be deeply appreciated. Plase don't suggest taking it to a mechanic. I live on a fixed income and that's out of the question.
