Angry Air Conditioning Problems

Okay, here's the problem.
Never ran my AC all winter, went to turn it on lately here and it shakes the crap out of my car. Turn off the AC and lifes good. Full AC or just when the AC comes on when the defrost is on, and the car still shakes.
Makes a noise something like a piece of cardboard in a bike spoke.
I think the compressor clutch is shot, but I'm not sure.
Please help.

Re: Air Conditioning Problems

I agree with your diagnosis. When your compressor kicks on your car shakes. Get another compressor. good luck.

Found the problem. Some big huge chunk of mud wedged in where I couldn't see it.
