Re: ECU problem
if your car is a manual then get a ecu for a manual, if its auto, the get an auto ecu. Not sure how to tell the difference in the numbers

yes, if they are both PM8 ecus then they will work
i'd suggest using an Si intake which is bigger and running an Si Ecu (PM6)

Would that work? my car is only an 8 valve and the SI is a 16 so i could change the intake manifold and the ecu?

Re: ECU problem
i would'nt know but yes change the ecu, intake manifold, and distributor, for the mpfi swap. add a resistor from a si to that.

his cars already got mpfi tho. so he shouldnt need the resistor box or dizzy.

Re: ECU problem
humm, man i know you would have to have all the wiring probably since you have no ecu. cause if you don't have an ecu then you are going to have to run wires thru the firewall from the engine to the ecu. If your lucky and things happen to plug up then i am guessing that you would have to get a complete engine harness cause there are lots of sensors on the throttle body that you prob, dont have, dizzy, ecu of course, injector resistor box, intake, injectors, and thats if your lucky and you already have a harness running thru your firewall for some reason even though there is no ecu. So it would probably be a lot of wiring to pull that off but anything can be done
