inatke manifold

Will a ex intake manifold work on a dx... or will push too much air? and does it bolt up properly?

it'll work and should bolt up fine. You can never have too much air as long as you have the fuel to compensate.

i don't think you really need to worry about running lean. The Y8 manifold flows better than the Y7, but not enough to throw off your a/f ratio badly.

Hmm.. after reading that I dunno if it will work... 99 civic with a 96 - 98 ex manifold? I got a lil confused with all that cuz it wasnt so specific.

it's all the same for all the D series motors. Pretty much every part is interchangeable between all of them.
