4.3 idling problem

OK guys, I have searched before I am posting a question here. I have a 4.3 TBI in a 88 S10 blazer. The other morning the truck would not start without giving it gas and would not idle on its own. When warm , the truck would idle, but about 500 rpm below normal and then sometimes would shut down. When driving the vehicle the response is there, but at idle it is not.

I have checked the computer for codes but none are there.

Is it possibly the EGR valve?
Is it the TPS
Is it the IAc?

WOuld any of the above be bad and not give any codes?
Any assistance is appreciated
Thanks in advance

Ever done a tuneup?

Did you clean the IAC?

OKOK
i have a 4.3 1990 TBI and one time i had these problems.

first of all.. assuming you have good wires, sparkplugsand thes kind of things.

if you havin' trouble starting or when idle it's like shakin' a little and sometimes shut off.. well..
check the fuel injectors.
quit the plate and the air filter and turn ON the TRUCK and see the two injectors working..
you should see sprayin gas in this form /\ DOWN. if you only see drops or one injector more power than other , ok you have problems.

i hope this help

Thanks for all the replies. The problem was water in the gas system.
Thanks again
