removing spare tire from underneath

how do u get the tire off from underneath??

i have a 2002 Rodeo

Swing open the tailgate. You will see a knotch/opening between the top of the rear bumper & truck body. That is where you insert the extension tube that allows you to crank down the under mounted spare tire. It's held in place, raised and lowered by a winch. The jack is in the rear left compartment, the tire changing tools are under the passenger side rear seat.
