hi i want to know are there any headlight relays on my 88 jeep cherokee. i checked the headlight itself.looked at all the fuses and even replaced clicker on the sterrging column still no high beams please help..

By "clicker" do you mean the dimmer switch at the base of the steering column?
Do your low beams go out when you select High? |

Just had a simular problem with my 96 Cherokee.
turns out the wiring harness for the headlights was corroded (salt/sand/winter things)...removed the harness and hard wired the wires....all is working now. Only difference with mine, the rest of my lights worked fine....just the highbeam wouldnt go on and the low beams would go out when i flipped the hi/lo "stick"....the housing is located un the air filer housing on mine......might want to check out your connections make sure there clean...etc....hope this helps............Jerry |
