Can you tell what engine this is?

So, can't tell whether its a 305 or a 350?

not from the outside. if you sat them side by side they are externally identical. The only difference is the size of the bore, pistons, and injectors. The only way to tell (assuming its the original engine the car came with) is to check the 8th digit of the VIN number. if its an "8" its the 350. if its an "F" its the 305.

Theres other little ways you can tell, again assuming everything is original. If it has a manual transmission then its a 305. If it doesnt have rear disc brakes than its a 305. They also have a different redline on the tach, and the 350 got a higher speedometer than a 305 automatic car.
