sohc zc timingbelt whining noise
sence ive had my zc, got it about 2 months ago, it seems like the timing belt is making a whining noise or even the cam. any help would be nice to find out the prob. thanx

the timing belt is on too tight. this could lead to premature wear. you should loosen it up just a little bit to the point where you have just a tad bit more play.

should i replace it or should it be fine?
also what is the best way of tightening up the timing belt?? thanx for your help guys

loosen up the tensioner and push on the timing belt to loosen it up or if you want to tighten it, put a wrench on the camgear bolt and turn slightly to tighten
