HI there if u dont want to spend that much money go with a aftermarket failsafe starter kill. I have installed a few of these things its made by DEI known as Viper model 103T Digital Failsafe StarterKill
This product prevents the starter from cranking when ever the system is armed the dash mounted keypad . u enter a code to arm and disarm this starter switch with out the code will not active the starter. web site for unit
