i have a 2000 rodeo with the 3.2 w/76k miles and my serpentine belt is cracked so i picked up a new belt. i found the belt tensioner and i removed the nut and that little plate, but nothing happens. the tensioner does not move at all. am i doing something wrong. i spent 45 minutes trying to figure this out when it should probably be a 10 minute job. thanks in advance

Re: help with serp. belt installation on a 2k rodeo
![]() no parts to remove. I put my socket wrench on it and then a 2' peice of pipe on the end. Tug clockwise to releave the tension. http://isuzufaq.ibctech.ca/#faq21
