I am Stumped I thought i knew something about electrical systems and i cannot figure this out. 1989 Corsica with no headlights, I just bought the car and the originall owner said they put a new ignition in it and then a month later the lights slowly went out? I checked all the connection with a test light and a multimeter and everything seems fine all the way up to where the bulbs connect............no power at all?
I installed a new switch and that did nothing I thought it might be the ground but we checked that too? I am completly stumped if any one can help me please do. I can offer more info if asked I just really need to get this thing working.....~B |

Re: 1989 corsica with no headlights
I just replaced the dimmer switch in a 89 Corsia. The headlights would not come on.Checked the headlight switch,it was fine, but nothing to the lamps.Pulled the connector at the dmmer switch and had power down to there.Put a jumper wire in and walla, headlights came on.This could be the same problem you are having?
