no love for Audioslave
I don't understand why people are so down on Audioslave, at least most of my friends. It's just good, hard rock. Even if you weren't a Soundgarden/RATM fan, its just a good easy album to listen. I guess Audioslave has a good cult following, seeing as their Chicago show sold out in something like 80 minutes.
So what does everyone think of Audioslave? Maybe I just have crazy friends or something.

Waste of their talent. Chris Cornell needs to learn how to write lyrics that aren't nonsensical, and stop restraining Morello so he can really work his magic instead of doing boring repetitive stuff (eg Like a Stone).
IMHO, of course. Bring back Zach!

I really like their album. I didn't expect it to be like it was, and I think they could go an entirely different direction with the next one. I liked the first, and I'm sure I'll like the next one too, no matter whether it sounds the same or not.

As much as I do like Audioslave's music I can't help thinking about RATM in the back of my head. RATM>All other rock IMO. Renegades was a dissapointment, but only because the last three albums were stellar.
